Dr. Alexander has been practicing orthodontics for ten years in the Dallas area and treating patients with iBraces since mid- 2002. He practices with his father, Dr. C. Moody Alexander, in Highland Park and has his own practice in Coppell, TX. Dr. Alexander graduated from The Baylor College of Dentistry and received his M.S. from St. Louis University. He was one of the first orthodontists in the United States to use iBraces and has treated more than 75 patients with the appliance. Dr. Frank Andolino – New York, NY frankandolino@mac.com
Dr. Andolino graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1986 and went on to complete a one-year general practice residency program at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. He then completed a two-year orthodontic residency program at Columbia University in 1989. Doctor Andolino has been using lingual appliances since 1989 and has been a Board Member of the American Lingual Orthodontic Association (ALOA) since 1994. Nearly 70% of Doctor Andolino's patients are adults, the majority being treated with lingual appliances. Additionally, Doctor Andolino was inducted as a fellow of the American College of Dentists (ACD) in 1999 and the International College of Dentists (ICD) in 2004. The ACD and ICD are honorary organizations for the recognition of outstanding and meritorious service to the profession of dentistry and to the community. Doctor Andolino has been using Ibraces as a treatment option since 2004 and has been using Ibraces exclusively as a lingual treatment option since 2005. Doctor Andolino belongs to numerous national and international dental and orthodontic organizations; actively participating in programs that bring advanced medical, dental and orthodontic concepts to developing countries. He is also a co-founder and co-director of Kageno, an international philanthopy that builds capacity in developing country communities. Dr. Hilton Goldreich – Plano, TX hiltongoldreich@hotmail.com
Dr. Hilton Goldreich has been practicing in Plano, Texas since 1995. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and is one of the original doctors utilizing the iBraces system. Dr. Goldreich graduated from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School (Valedictorian) and received his Masters of Science in Oral Biology and Orthodontic Certificate at Baylor College of Dentistry. He is also known for his support of non-profit organizations including the Infant and Toddler Intervention Program, Collin County Children’s Advocacy Center, Sci-Tech Discovery Center, and Texas Dentists for Healthy Smiles. His patients and staff support his efforts to help the community by participating in these events. Dr. Goldreich is married to Liz and they have one daughter. Dr. David L. Dr. David L. Hime is a native of San Antonio, where he was born on February 22, 1959. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering. He then graduated from the UT Dental Branch at Houston in 1986 and the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1988 with a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology and a certificate in Orthodontics. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Capital Area Dental Society, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, Texas Association of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Texas Orthodontic Study Group. He has chaired both Young Dentist and Peer Review Committees of the Capital Area Dental Society, and is past president of the Texas Association of Orthodontists. He has served on the American Association of Orthodontists Council on Information Technology. He has been awarded both the C.T. Rowland award and the A.P. Westfall award from the Tweed Study Group for demonstrated excellence in clinical orthodontics. He is also a board certified diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics, and is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Mario E. Paz, a native of El Salvador, received his D.D.S. from the University of Santa Maria, Brazil, and his orthodontic and M.S. degrees from Eastman Dental Center and the University of Rochester in New York, respectively. He also completed specialized training in lingual orthodontics and a fellowship in tempromandibular jaw disorder at the University of Rochester. Dr. Paz maintains private practices in Beverly Hills and Marina Del Rey, California. He holds active memberships in the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Paz is currently the president of the American Lingual Orthodontic Association (ALOA), vice president of Iberoamerica Association of Lingual Orthodontics (SIAOL) and founding member of the World Society of Lingual Orthodontics(WSLO). Dr. Paz had the distinction of having the late Dr. Craven Kurz, the inventor of lingual braces, as his mentor. Dr. Paz worked closely with Dr. Kurz in the lingual technique and has been extensively involved in the use of lingual appliances and adult aesthetic orthodontic therapy. Dr. Paz has published articles in clinical journals such as the American Journal of Orthodontics and lectures in the United States as well as internationally on Lingual orthodontics. Dr. Paz’ Hands-on Lingual and Aesthetic Orthodontic Course,” taught bi-annually, has been instrumental in instructing orthodontists from around the world in the art of lingual orthodontics. Dr. Michael Ragan is in private practice in Dallas, Texas. He was also the clinical director at The Lingualcare Center of Excellence where he treated iBraces patients. Dr. Ragan attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, graduating with honors. He received his postgraduate training in orthodontics from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, serving as chief resident. Dr. Ragan is a guest lecturer as well as the current Alumni president at Nova. Dr. Robert P. Scholz - Discovery Bay, CA rpscholz@aol.com
Robert P. Scholz completed his orthodontic certification at the University of California San Francisco in 1963. After spending two and one-half years in Athens, Greece practicing orthodontics for the Air Force, he returned to the Bay Area and began a part time private practice. He maintained an appointment at UCSF for twenty years departing as Clinical Professor in 1987. He currently enjoys appointments as Adjunct Professor at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Temple University in Philadelphia and is the Editor of Techno Bytes, the technology section of the AJO/DO. He has lectured world wide on various subjects including functional appliances, practice management, the PC based digital imaging systems and most recently, on technology subjects of interest to orthodontists. Dr. Neil Warshawsky is a board certified orthodontist in private practice in Chicago; Lincolnshire, Hyde Park, and Orland Park, Illinois. He has extensive experience treating lingual patients with hidden braces. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Illinois at Champaign and completed studies to earn his dental degrees and his specialty certificate in orthodontics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Warshawsky has a Masters degree in Histology, the branch of science concerned with cells and tissues on a microscopic level. He has recently become one of the younger Diplomats of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. med. dent. Dirk Wiechmann – Bad Essen, Germany wiechmann@lingualtechnik.de
Dr. med. dent. Dirk Wiechmann is the principal inventor of the first completely individualized lingual bracket system iBraces/Incognito. He has published numerous articles in scientific journals on the theme of lingual orthodontics, held many conferences worldwide and just recently completed the iBraces/Incognito Clinical Guide along with the CEO and President of Lingualcare. In his private practice in Bad Essen, Germany, he has more than 300 lingual patients in active treatment. He is a faculty staff member at the Medical School Hannover, Germany. He is also the Scientific Director of the post-graduate program in lingual orthodontics at the University Paris VII, France. Since 2006 he has been Honorary Associate Professor at the faculty of dentistry at the University of Hong Kong, China. |
